Giving Opportunities:
KEVIN MAGUIRE SCHOLARSHIP FUND
We have never turned away a single family from our club due to financial constraints. Our Scholarship Fund awarded $280,000 in 2023-24 so ALL boys and girls from every community have access to play, learn, and dream!
TREASURE ISLAND FIELD FUND
After receiving unanimous approval by local government, SF Glens started the building of a soccer facility at Treasure Island. The facility will be home for training and games for all players. It will also serve local colleges, schools and residents. The money collected in this fund will help having the facility operational in Spring 2024.
GENERAL FUND
We are proudly offering the broadest array of soccer programs in San Francisco for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels. Your gifts will help us cover the perpetually increasing cost of renting fields and equipment cost to ensure those programs thrive.

HOW TO DONATE:

Why Donate to SF Glens Soccer Club? Here are 5 reasons:
1. All the programs we offer ON the field! As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are proud to be able to offer the broadest array of soccer programs in San Francisco for boys and girls of all ages and skill levels (Micro Soccer, Recreational, Competitive) thanks to a combination of grants, sponsorships, and of course, donors like you! Your donations also help cover the perpetually increasing costs to reserve enough fields to ensure all these programs thrive, especially in San Francisco. In the last three years, 50 plus players have gone from our Glens Pathway Pyramid to either a college program or a professional contract.
2. All the programs we offer OFF the field! Building complete players and people is our mission, so we also offer holistic programming outside trainings, such as community service partnerships like backpack drives and voter registration drives through our Glens 4 Good Foundation, college visits and college ID camps, academic support, and even video analytics courses with fellow nonprofit TEAM INC. that incorporate STEM education elements. Amid the pandemic, these programs have been essential to keep our kids active and maintaining our sense of community.
3. Our Scholarship Fund! Our diversity is our strength. We take pride in having players and coaches from almost every zip code in San Francisco, as well as from various socioeconomic backgrounds. Most importantly, we take pride in having NEVER turned a family away due to financial hardship. This ability to be an inclusive club partially stems from our Kevin Maguire Scholarship Fund which has helped Glens players like José Madrigal become the first in their family to go to college. We were able to award nearly $280,000 in financial aid in 2023-2024.
4. Our Coaches’ Professional Development! To build complete players on and off the field, it starts with exemplary leadership, and coaches are the lifeblood of our club. That's why we believe in investing in their growth by covering the tuition for their USSF coaching licensing courses, which are necessary to be eligible to coach at the highest levels our teams now compete, as well as improve their pedagogy regardless of whether they coach Competitive, Recreational, or Micro.
5. Your Donations Are Tax-Deductible! San Francisco Glens Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit – Tax ID #45-3022817.
