COMMUNITY & CAUSES
The San Francisco Glens Soccer Club have a long-standing association with community and supporting causes that are critical to the places where we live and play. Our club believes in developing young soccer players who recognize how leadership, engagement, and service contribute to a foundation of success both on the field and in life.
MIRACLE IN THE MISSION A HUGE SUCCESSThanks to everyone who came out to All In SF's Miracle in the Mission 2019 at John O'Connell High School! It was a pleasure to partner up with All In SF to run soccer the soccer field and help kids get in some physical activity while celebrating Chritmas with the community! Over 525 kids met Santa and received a bike or toy, and over 1,000 people were served a hot meal for the Holidays! Can't wait for the next one!
GLENS PLAYERS, COACHES GO TO PRISON (TO PLAY SOCCER!)Our Glens coaches, USL League Two, and SFSFL players traveled to San Quentin to play a pickup game against the inmates of San Quentin FC's "A-Team"! We teamed up with Outsiders FC, the soccer wing of Second Chances Sports, a nonprofit geared toward giving incarcerated individuals an opportuity to play sports and continue their personal growth. Watch technical director, Jimmy Conradm as he takes you into San Quextin for an experience none of us will ever forget!
