WHY ARE SFGE LAUNCHING THIS ACADEMY?

SFGE is thrilled to have partner with Celtic FC and able to bring you SFGE Celtic Academy and SFGE Celtic Pre Academy.  SFGE Celtic Academy offers additional opportunities to players who want to compete and experience the highest level of professional competition. Top team in each age group playing Gold level or higher (Premier, NPL, Champions League) are qualified as SFGE Celtic Academy teams.

Why SFGE?

Celtic FC identified a handful of partner clubs in their network to become Celtic Academy.  SFGE was chosen because the club has the infrastructure, coaching quality, development pathway and player pool to compete with the top clubs in the nation.  Also the success of the club has created a buzz and is the talking point throughout NorCal.

PERFORMANCE DATA ANALYSIS PROGRAM

SFGE will be incorporating technology into our player development through data tracking and analytics. Each player in our Celtic Academy program u12 and older receive feedback throughout the season and a player scorecard at the end of the season.  The scorecard gives the players all the data over a minimum of 3 games.  This valuable tool is used to see where exactly the player is underperforming and excelling.
It is also a great resource for the club to track team performances which helps to provide feedback to the coaches.  Data tracking and analytics is a fantastic resource to have in addition to our coaching staff and specialists. ​
