SF Glens & Evolution FC '00/'01 Teams Enjoy Scrimmage

Today, at Pollicita Middle School in Daly City, the SF Glens & Evolution '00/'01 (U15) boys teams enjoyed a great day of soccer. The game was intended to introduce the boys to one another (many of whom already know each other from school and past teams), as well as to look at ways to combine the boys in some way for winter or spring play.

Glens Team Manager Kevin Sweeney and Evolution FC coach Chris Flanagan were on hand as were a number of interested parents. The game was played with great spirit and ended with a 2-1 Glens win on a terrific pass and goal near the end.

"The aim of this morning was to get an extra game, take a look at all the boys in this age group from a player pool perspective, and just begin the exciting process of developing soccer players together as SF Glens Evolution," said Coach Flanagan. "This was a success on all accounts."
