Kieran Marshall is an accomplished football coach with a diverse and dynamic background in both playing and coaching at high-performance levels. Currently based in San Francisco, he serves as a coach for SF Glens, working as an MLS Next assistant coach and goalkeeper coach, where he plays a key role in developing elite youth talent within one of the most competitive youth systems in the United States. In addition to his responsibilities with MLS Next, he is also involved with the USL programs at SF Glens and coaches at the NCAA Division II collegiate level, further demonstrating his commitment to fostering player growth at multiple stages of development.
He holds a UEFA B Licence, underscoring his technical and tactical expertise, and has experience coaching across both the boys’ and girls’ sides of the game, giving him a comprehensive understanding of youth development across the full spectrum of the sport.
Prior to his coaching career in the U.S., he spent time as a coach with Rangers FC, one of Scotland’s most historic and successful clubs, where he contributed to the development of academy-level players. As a former professional player, he competed in the Scottish professional leagues with Queen of the South and Annan Athletic, and also represented Scotland at the U15 national team level, experiences that have given him firsthand insight into the demands of elite competition.
His coaching journey has been marked by a passion for player development, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. His broad experience—from European academies to American youth and college soccer—makes him a valuable asset in any high-performance football environment.
